Here's a short video series I recently filmed for Reel Grrls and our upcoming program Dis This!
Dis This! is an a very cool disability justice and media camp for teen girls. It's one of the only programs of its kind and I know the youth are going to blow our minds with some disability media criticism and production!

A homecoming...of sorts
One of many wall of records at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, TN. I was back in Nashville for Christmas this past year and it's always a strange experience. My family essentially all relocated there when I was in college. Since I don't really consider it "home," I thought I could at least make an effort to get to know it a little better.
So I begrudgingly learned all I ever care to know about Elvis, Dolly, Johnny, and other southern white people at the Country Music Hall of Fame.
It was a... pleasant experience.
Below is THE famous Steinway piano used by above mentioned artists in THE famous Studio B recording room.

A Milk Shake Pit Stop

A quick stop over at this 59er Diner was well worth the wait for some tasty frozen treats.
A Peanut Butter Chocolate shake with good ole fashioned sprinkles.

The Seattle Portrait Project: Portrait #1
I was inspired by this photo book from Seattle commercial photographer Chase Jarvis to get back into the swing of portraiture. I have moved away from it over the last few years and forgot the joy of capturing a glimpse of someone's personality through a well done portrait.
Victim No. 1 of this ongoing series is none other than my good friend and roommate Danny M (and with a very important t-shirt message!) Other Seattlites beware, you're next!
